Patient education and support is an important part of our patients’ journey with us. We make it a priority to explain signs and symptoms, potential causes, treatment options and prevention methods to all of our patients. We also will provide you with resources we feel will be helpful for better understanding your specific condition. Below are trusted sources to explore questions and concerns before an appointment. Our staff is always available as well to help provide information and support.

Support Groups

Breast Cancer Support Group at Arlington Memorial Hospital
Group meets the 4th Tuesday of the month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in Classroom C of the McRae Building.

Please check the monthly calendars at the reception desk and first-floor bulletin board for specific dates and times.

Complimentary Services Available in Our Arlington Center

Financial Counseling. Financial counselors are available to help patients access resources to assist with their medical bills and other needs.

Patient Education.We are committed to educating our patients so they will be well-informed to participate in their treatment decisions. Literature from the National Cancer Institute and American Cancer Society is available in our clinic area; educational topics range from information about specific types of cancer and treatment/therapy options to nutrition and emotional support. Learn more about your type of cancer.
