How We Treat Cancer

What Sets Us Apart?

Arlington Cancer Center was founded in 1982 by Alfred DiStefano, M.D., along with other forward-thinking physicians who trained and practiced at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. We offer more than 150 years of combined research, teaching and practical experience in treating solid tumors, blood cancers and blood disorders at some of the premier national and international cancer centers and medical schools.

Convenient, Compassionate Care

For more than 30 years, Arlington Cancer Center has been known nationally as a pioneer ― offering cutting-edge, individualized cancer and blood treatments. Our physicians and staff are as determined as you are in beating cancer. We understand you want an innovative partner to help you make the most informed decisions about your care and your future. That’s why we offer a comprehensive outpatient environment and take pride in providing diagnosis, treatment, education and support services to adult cancer patients from around the world.

Our goal is to lessen the stress of treatment so you can focus on your recovery. We make it easier by offering all of our services under one roof. Our main campus location in Arlington provides coordination of care through lab, radiation therapy, radiology, chemotherapy infusion and retail pharmacy services. We hope you will find that our extensive experience and exceptional personalized approach to patient care are what make Arlington Cancer Center unique in treating you.

Additionally, Arlington Cancer Center is part of Texas Health Physicians Group — a network of more than 840 physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants dedicated to providing safe, quality care for the communities throughout North Texas.

We’re Changing the Odds

Our multidisciplinary team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and radiologists develop treatment plans based on each unique person and their unique cancer. Our medical team stays at the forefront of cancer treatment technology and training. We use the genetic makeup of the tumor as a guide for treatment. By analyzing tumor cells and selecting the drug that has the highest chance of efficacy and tumor response rate, we are able to achieve better outcomes for our patients.

We are also among selected clinics in the United States offering high-dose chemotherapy followed by autologous stem cell transplantation in the outpatient setting. With relatively low mortality and morbidity, this procedure offers great potential to patients.

On-site diagnostic equipment, including digital mammography, MRI and PET/CT imaging, delivers clearly defined tumors and enhanced test results to our physicians quickly and accurately.

Our accreditation by the American College of Radiology and participation in the National Oncologic PET Registry also demonstrate our commitment to fully serving the needs of our patients by providing them with comprehensive cancer care, resources and treatment options.

As determined as you are.
